OUR MISSION STATEMENT
We believe that people and the environment matter.
Our mission is to help inspire local people to improve their quality of life and choose a healthier, greener, and more affordable lifestyle through the bicycle and cycling.
improving health and well-being – by providing regular led bicycle and cycling activities in a safe, sociable, and supported environment;
providing training and education – through cycle training, maintenance courses, workshops, and other activities;
protecting the environment – through the promotion of cycling as a sustainable form of transport, and through recycling used bicycles and parts.
Hub + Spoke first opened its doors in May 2011. Established in partnership with Essex County Council and Harlow District Council.
Hub + Spoke was set up to promote cycling in and around Harlow, and deliver cycle training and education to the local community.
Since April 2017 we have not been funded by Essex County Council
